Our Focus
Togetherness Project exists to cultivate belonging through safe, life-giving community where people feel seen, supported, and connected. And we help restore lives through healing-centered initiatives for women of all ages—rooted in faith, identity, and hope—so individuals and communities can move from survival to wholeness.
Our Mission is threefold: Education & Training, Sacred Support & Counsel, & Continuous Assistance.
Trauma Informed Training & Education
Education and Training: We empower churches, community leaders, and organizations to become trauma-informed by providing them with essential knowledge, tools, and frameworks. This equips them to recognize pain, respond with compassion, and create safe, healing environments that support long-term restoration within their communities both locally and globally.
Helping Tired Women Return Home Again
Sacred Support: Soul Care Woman is an initiative for women who are tired—emotionally, spiritually, and in their bodies—and need a safe place to breathe again. We offer safety before story and presence before performance, helping women return home to Jesus, to their own hearts, and to their divine design. We plant seeds of restoration, not rushing or fixing, for lasting wholeness.
Eva: Your Ally in Decision Support & Well-Being
Continuous Assistance: Providing Eva as a supplemental tool, ensuring individuals have access to emotional support and decision-making assistance whenever they need it. By providing individuals with a 24/7 empathetic support tool to process their life and navigate challenges with confidence and clarity, Eva is a vital resource ensuring that no one has to journey alone.

Melody Lovvorn
Executive Director, Togetherness Project
For the last sixteen years, I have walked closely with people in crisis—women and families navigating exhaustion, devastation, and profound life transitions.
As someone wired for play, connection, and embodied presence, I eventually realized I needed a way to step outside my office and tend to my own nervous system—to breathe, move, and remember joy. Through friends and community, I found myself in a new space outdoors, on the pickleball court, rediscovering laughter, sunlight, movement, and connection in a way that felt deeply restorative.
I hoped it might also become a relational pathway to young people through presence and shared life. And in many ways, it was. But what became increasingly clear was this: many of the young women I was meeting—especially college students—were already deeply tired. Not from inactivity, but from carrying pressure, performance, and unresolved pain far too early in life.
That realization led to a necessary shift. What these women needed most was not another activity, but a place of stillness and restoration—where safety comes before story, presence before performance, and identity before expectation. Soul Care Woman emerged from that discernment as an initiative of the Togetherness Project, focused on gently reorienting tired souls back to the gospel and the feminine design God intended from the beginning.
At the halfway point of my life, and inspired by the birth of my first grandbaby, Lively Grace, this is the assignment God has placed in my hands. I have just completed two companion books that form the foundation of this work: Grit & Grace: The Restoring of the Feminine Soul and The Soul Midwife: A Theology of Care & Presence for the Feminine Soul. We believe this will become a soul-care pathway for women to rest in Jesus through online and in-person resources, retreats, and community spaces. If this resonates with your heart, we hope you will help us build this program with prayer, presence and generosity.
"So speak encouraging words to one another. Build up hope so you’ll all be together in this, no one left out, no one left behind." 1 Thessalonians. 5:11
